MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN 2016

MR. TIL BIKRAM SAMBAHANGPHE (LIMBU)
EX-CHAIRMAN (2016 - 2018)
BASINGSTOKE NEPALESE COMMUNITY, THE UNITED KINGDOM
May I take this opportunity to thank
you all Basingstoke Nepalese Community Members and election coordinator Mr.
Prasad Rai and his team for your tireless
commitment in making the BNC 6th General Convention on 26 March 2016
a success. I would like to express my sincere gratitude and respect to previous
committee for their tremendous work and dedication towards the Basingstoke
Nepalese Community during their tenure.
I am elected as a Chairman of Basingstoke Nepalese Community for next two years, and it is a privilege and pressure to be able to present your interest from a remarkable community for a further two years, I am confident and believe in my committee team, all together can move forward in the right direction. I as a Chairman am always seeking your suggestions and a fair deal for the sake of community and members. I will always be committed in promoting and integrating Basingstoke Nepalese Community and will continue to campaign on all matters that effect our community. I will be committed and will continue to act on the best interest of our fine community in the tenure in which I have been honoured to represent as the Chairman. I always fought to do my best to act on all issues brought to my attention by members and this will most certainly continue to be the case. I am continually inspired and uplifted by our community spirit that is evident within the Basingstoke and Dean. And this will continue not just at this time but throughout the years to come.
My main goal as Chairman is to bring more value to our members within the two years in order to improve unity and solidarity. It is also important to help keep the Executive committee and BNC Strong. Constantly, I see volunteers going that extra mile to help others, and hope that this will continue from our members.
The BNC always organises and takes part to celebrate on occasions and events every year which are Nepali New Year, Winter Party and World Party so on. I would like to encourage participation and attendance on these events. The Basingstoke Nepalese Community is going to celebrate its10th anniversary on the BNC winter party on 16 October 2016.
I would like to thank you to all those involved in the community, whether as volunteering individuals or team that simply keeps us going. Without your invaluable time and effort we would not stand as a community in solidarity and unity.
Thank you
JaiBasingstoke Nepalese Community
